Do you ever think that things happen to you in life to teach you a lesson in empathy? You know the old saying, “until you’ve walked a mile in someone else’s shoes”. It’s hard to imagine what a person is going through if you haven’t too been through it. Sometimes, you might even judge that person thinking, “it would never happen to me.”

Never say never. Life has a way of surprising us. Tearing us down and building us up. Breaking our hearts and healing them. And it is only through this that you can truly understand the pain and joy of others. You know because you’ve been there. And you quickly realize, there’s no room for judgment. Your life, your situation, your job, your relationship – they’re no better than anyone else’s. It’s the work that you put into it that makes the difference. It doesn’t mean any of them will be easy, only that it’s up to you how far you’re willing to go.
