It’s an interesting thing, the passage of time.
“Grief never ends… but it changes. It’s a passage, not a place to stay. Grief is not a sign of weakness, nor a lack of faith… It is the price of love.”
I posted this online a year ago.
And just like that, you think you’ve gotten to the other side, and then you realize – there is no other side. Grief changes you and it stays with you. You can be perfectly fine and then out of nowhere, it hits you like a ton of bricks.
And that’s ok. We carry the pain and love with us, and it forms who we are and how we look at the world.
And maybe, if we’re lucky, we’ll find some meaning from it all.
