The last few days I’ve been in London, and yesterday particularly struck a chord for me. It really made me think. None of it is worth it. Not money, or work, or unnecessary stress. The world is certainly flawed, but if you can allow yourself to see the beauty in it, the good can supersede the bad.
We are all seeking our purpose, whether we know it or not. But I can tell you for certain, it’s not found in fame or titles or hefty bank accounts. My wish for you and for me is that we always remember that we have a choice. Rock bottom only allows you to go up. There is someone who cares about you and someone who’s there for you, if you need them. At the least, that someone is me.
Very well said Lisa. I admire your commitment to separating work from the rest of our lives, and focusing on what is truly important.
