I posted this picture 1 year ago. Little did I know what was in store. Was 2020 a “good” year? For most, unfortunately no. It was certainly a strange year though.

In the midst of this uncertain year, a lot of really wonderful things happened for us too.

But, this year was not without challenge, even for us – albeit small comparatively. We’ve missed our family – the longest we’ve ever gone without seeing them and the longest time we’ve ever been out of the states…10+ months. We’ve missed our friends, both far and near. We’ve lost loved ones to this horrible virus and known countless others who have gotten sick or have struggled with job or business loss. We’ve spent months inside our house under strict lockdown, sometimes leaving for the first time in weeks just to take out the trash.

But, Matt and I count ourselves among the lucky ones. We hope you can find the silver lining as well.
