Human nature is to worry about the future. To consider the future. To think about the possibilities. I often try to tell myself that you don’t know what’s ahead, but it’s easier said than done. Again I am reminded of the uncertainty of life, and how big and small things can change from day to day. What you thought may happen, never does, and what you thought would never happen, does.
It’s important to plan in life while remembering that there are many things out of your control. Worrying about the future robs you of the joys of the present. Sometimes we need to take things as they come, and trust they will all work out exactly as they’re supposed to in the end.
As the saying goes… “Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, and today is a gift––that is why it is called the present.”
